This house, which in its volume actually houses three independent houses, is declared as a Cultural Property of National Interest (BCIN). The work of the modernist architect Manel Raspall, dates from 1910 and has been considered the jewel in the crown of the various and abundant modernist works in the municipality.

The passage of time and poor maintenance have turned the building into a gray and amorphous image that contrasts with the luster it must have had when it was built.

Based on this situation and after discussions with the General Directorate of Heritage of the Generalitat of Catalonia, it has been possible to give way to the municipal license for the comprehensive arrangement of the building, with the intention of recovering its values and original image.

In this sense, and with regard to its chromaticism, the color samples on some tiles left by the architect in one of the building's chimneys have been key. These samples, together with the study of the colors under the current skin of the facades, have allowed us to arrive at a chromaticism sufficiently similar to the original, and which, in any case, will make the rehabilitated building shine.

The arrangement of an ornamental lighting system will enhance, even more, the night image of the Iris Tower.

At the level of physical intervention on the building, it is divided into the action on the outer skin, roofs and roof, and, on the other hand, the intervention in the interior spaces of the building.

Thus, once the color lines of the outer skin have been confirmed, the arrangement goes to the interior spaces, where, while respecting the philosophy and treatment of the spaces of the original project, these are adapted to the functional needs of our time. Thus, the facilities are updated and the functional performance of the interior is cleaned and expanded, while respecting the differential features such as ceramic tiles, floors, fireplaces and carpentry.

Broadly speaking, with the interventions described, the comprehensive rehabilitation of the building and its renewed image in the urban fabric of La Garriga will be concluded.
