Abrera's urban developing

In order to develop the two urban centers of Abrera, namely the old town and the sector of the old N-2 road, an urban planning intervention has been carried out since 1976 to increase and improve the distribution of residential areas, industrial areas, and the fabric of public facilities and green areas.

The growth dynamics of the population, located in a strategic hub, in terms of installed industries, has been constant and successful.

Incasol's intervention has also been key to developing, basically, the industrial areas and also residential areas on the outskirts of the old town.

Currently, these interventions have remained fully integrated in the urban development of Abrera, so that the image they offer hardly reminds us of the peripheral nature of their time.

This urban planning action, which, as has been said, was put seriously in 1976, has given rise, 45 years later, to the image offered by the photographs. In parallel with this development, the population of Abrer has grown by 120%.

Precisely, the image and services of Abrera have given rise to the preference of many families when settling in the town. This fact has contributed to achieving the indicated growth. At that time, the drafting of the Municipal Urban Planning Plan (POUM) of Abrera is underway.
